A Breath of Snow and Ashes
A Breath of Snow and Ashes - Diana Gabaldon
Loved it! Way better than that draggy Fiery Cross. Jamie and company deal with murderous bandits, gold thieves, Stephen Bonnet (again!), and predictions of their own demise. Plus, someone (or someones) travels through the stones...Fast based, interesting subplots, and still romantic. Worth every page turn!

I have both of the last 2 Gabaldon books on hand, just waiting for the new year to start. My count for 2007 is way below my goal (but I had a baby in October, so it's to be expected that the last 3 months have been slow reading). I've read bad reviews for "Breath...", most Gabaldon fans seem to not like it. It's refreshing to read a good review from a trusted source!
